The Barcelona classics I've actually tried — and would still send a friend to.
An afternoon that started with art at MNAC and ended with wine in the sunshine at La Font del Gat. Add some beautiful gardens in between, and you've got one of my favourite ways to spend a Saturday in Barcelona.

The MOCO Museum surprised me in the best way. It’s not too big, but there’s plenty to see — from inspiring quotes and paintings to sculptures and modern art. I’d especially recommend it for a rainy Barcelona afternoon. Tickets can be a little pricey, but if you have some time to spare, it’s definitely worth a visit.
BEST FOR: Contemporary art and a rainy afternoon in Barcelona.

The Picasso Museum is actually next to the MOCO Museum, in the beautiful El Born (the building it is in is also so pretty btw). We visited on the last Sunday of the month and got in for free, which made it even better. The collection takes you through Picasso’s earlier work and his connection to Barcelona. My advice? GO, even if it’s just for a quick visit!
